How to Use Apple Pay at Stores

You can make payments at stores with your iPhone, via Apple Pay by following this process: 

  1. Without placing your finger on Touch ID or inputting your passcode, hold your iPhone close to the contactless reader. Your default card would pop up on your iPhone screen. 

  2. To see all other cards in your wallet, Tap on the default card. Choose the one you want to use for the payments from the list of your cards in place. 

  3. To complete the transaction, Place your finger on Touch ID with your iPhone still close to the contactless reader. 

Alternatively, you can follow this process: 

  1. Open the Wallet app and tap the card you want to use to make a payment from the list. 

  2. Enter your passcode or place and hold your finger on Touch ID until you get a confirmation message that shows you are ready to pay. The time limit for payment after the confirmation message is 30 seconds. 

  3. To complete the payment, hold your iPhone close to the contactless reader.
